Chemo Mitts for Hands and Feet
To prevent Neuropathy, I want to use chemo cold mitts on my hands and feet during chemotherapy. I noticed that Donna N. sent in something saying she was using it for the same reason on 10/11/16. Does anyone know if there has been a follow up from Donna on this? Does anyone have any feedback to offer on the use of cold mitts. I don't see any mitts for the feet, only the hands. Where do you find mitts for the feet? The other challenge is that I read the mitts stay cold for only 20-40 minutes. That tells me that I might need a second pair. At an average of $45 for the hand mitts alone, they can be quite costly. I am starting Taxol infusions in 2 weeks, and looking really hard for the right options and any feedback. Greatly appreciated.
Hand Mitts & Neck Wrap
Elasto-Gel Therapy Mitten
I had a fractured wrist that required two surgeries. I purchased the mitten prior to the repeat surgery because I didn't have effective icing packs following the first surgery. The mitten is wonderfully effective! I recommend it and look forward to using it warm for my arthritic knuckles as the weather grows colder each week.
Elasto-Gel Therapy Mitt
This mitt is perfect for my hand that I just received surgery on. I like the fact that it is already in the right shape and formed for the hand and also the softness is so gentle on spot where it is tender. It works well.
I'm using it to hopefully
I'm using it to hopefully prevent a.neuropathy, while I'm on chemotherapy. I'll let you know how how effective it is.
